Please watch this page for further information as it becomes available. All you need to do now is mark your calendar … and have a look at flights or trains or buses …. All roads lead to Dun Laoghaire in June 2025.
The hotel overlooks the famous and beautiful Dublin Bay. It is easily accessible by public transport and is only a short distance from Dublin’s buzzing city centre. Previous guests in this wonderful hotel include Frank Sinatra, Charlie Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy. (By the way, Dún Laoghaire is pronounced “done leary”.) The name means the “fort of Laoghaire”, Laoghaire having been an Irish High King in the 400s. The town is the biggest in Ireland and boasts one of the finest harbours in the world as well as the very first suburban railway in the world. Joyce’s famous tower is in nearby Sandycove, a mere 2km away.
