Convention Coordinator Role

  1. Attend all National Executive Committee meetings
  2. Establish a clear role definition in conjunction with the National Executive Chairperson and Committee
  3. Maintain a portfolio for the role so that the job can be easily transferred to the next holder of the role
  4. Ensure the implementation of the WGII Policy Document on National Conventions
  5. Bring Convention issues to the National Executive meetings at appropriate times
  6. Issue and process invitation to next organiser of the National Convention
  7. Ensure the convention organiser has a copy of the Convention Policy Document and any convention guidelines issued by WGII
  8. Be available as an adviser to the convention organising committee
  9. Be in regular contact with the committee about the convention budget
